Make the Marketing Plan Work For You
The marketing plan should describe how you are going to do
business, what you are going to sale, how much you expect to
make, and where you will market the product. The marketing plan
will help set up all the marketing involved in getting a product
to market. The next step of the plan after creating the
marketing plan is to design and build a web site. The marketing
plan should already have outlined the funds needed for creating
the web site and any other items to be set up when production of
the product, most likely a book is ready.
Sections in the Marketing Plan
The usual sections which are discussed in depth in the other
articles can be tailored to the needs of the product. The
section names are:
1) A summary that summarizes the plan is the first item.
2) An industry section to what the industry is doing and who the
leaders are.
3) Market analysis, which is what the market is expected to do.
4) A competitive analysis to describe the competition.
5) Marketing plan, how the product will be priced.
6) A financial plan of where the money will come from to start
the business.
Each of these sections only need to be a few lines long, but it
should be enough to describe and answer the questions related to
each section in the following articles. Get started on your
marketing plan today.
