Finding Balance in the Overwhelm
Who or what do you put first?
How do you manage your time?
When and how do you say ‘no’? How do
you revive yourself when you’re tired?
What have you done for YOU today?
If you’re asking yourself these questions, you’re not
alone. Millions of freelancers and
WAHM’s are desperately trying to stay afloat in the
overwhelming desire of balancing work and family.
We want what’s best for our families, but we also
have a strong desire to work that won’t let us rest.
Do You Have SS?
I lovingly refer to it as the Supermom Syndrome:
the belief that we can and should do it ALL with a
smile and no need for thanks. Stop for
a moment and recall that 50 years ago it was considered a
full-time occupation to raise the kids.
Today, we have taken on the task of not only
raising the kids, but building a full-time income without
letting go of any former responsibilities. It’s like
working two full-time jobs simultaneously.
No wonder we’re tired. But does that
make it impossible? Where there’s a
will there’s a way, it’s just a matter of how to get there
without burning ourselves out.
This section is for freelancers and WAHM’s who aren’t
willing to compromise, but still want to find balance in
the overwhelm. We’ll be covering
simple tips and strategies you can learn to make your life
easier and more rewarding.
